Fan Appreciation Night Comes to Low This Friday

The Paugan Falls Rapids are back home this Friday night for a special evening dedicated to the people who make hockey nights in Low what they are — the fans.

The Rapids host the South Stormont Mustangs at the Gatineau Valley Arena, with puck drop set for 8:00 PM and warm-up beginning at 7:30 PM. This game is scheduled for Friday night rather than the usual Saturday slot, so fans are encouraged to plan accordingly.

This marks the first-ever Rapids Fan Appreciation Night, created to give back to the loyal supporters who fill the stands week after week and help make the Gatineau Valley Arena one of the best environments in the league.

From the moment fans walk through the doors, they’ll be part of the celebration. Every fan will receive a complimentary raffle ticket at the door, with draws taking place throughout the game. Prizes include a signed authentic Rapids jersey, Ottawa Senators tickets with a parking pass, Rapids merchandise, season tickets for the 2026–27 season, and free ice time at the Gatineau Valley Arena.

Fan Appreciation Night wouldn’t be complete without Ronnie Rapid. During the first intermission, Ronnie will be leading a merch giveaway, tossing Rapids gear into the stands and keeping the energy high as the crowd gets involved.

On the ice, the Rapids face a tough South Stormont Mustangs squad in a matchup that promises pace, physicality, and plenty of emotion. With the crowd behind them, the Rapids will be looking to feed off the energy and put on a strong performance at home.

Tickets are available for $10 at the door or online, with free admission for kids aged 12 and under.

Fan Appreciation Night is proudly supported by Proxim Pharmacy Gracefield, Kelly’s Auto Parts, and Johnson Autowreckers Plus.

If you’ve been meaning to come out to a game, this is the night. If you’ve been with us all season, this one’s for you. Friday night, 8:00 PM. Let’s pack the rink and celebrate our fans.
