Join the Rapids Team: Livestream and Video Content Volunteer Opportunity

Are you a tech enthusiast who loves sports? Do you enjoy working with video and livestream setups? The Paugan Falls Rapids are looking for a volunteer or group to help capture the excitement of our hockey games! This is a great chance to be part of our team, support the community, and share your tech skills in a fun and engaging way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Livestream Setup & Monitoring: Set up the camera and livestream for all home games before warm-up begins, and make sure everything runs smoothly on the arena TVs, so our volunteers and fans don’t miss a moment.
YouTube Game Uploads: Upload full game recordings (home and away) to our YouTube channel after each game. For home games, add Warren Stevenson's commentary to enhance the viewer experience.
Highlight of the Night: After each game, create a short “Highlight of the Night” clip to showcase the best moments from the action.

Who We’re Looking For:

Reliable & Detail-Oriented: You’re someone who can take charge of setting up the stream and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Creative & Fun: If you enjoy making videos and love the idea of getting creative with highlight clips, this is the role for you!
Tech-Savvy: Experience with video equipment, livestreaming platforms, and editing software would be a plus! And if you’re excited about experimenting with new ideas like game recaps, even better!

Time Commitment: Expect around 5-10 hours per week, depending on whether we have a home game. You’ll need to be at all home games to manage the livestream, with post-game tasks like uploading footage and editing highlights done afterwards.
