Local Talent Sam McLaughlin Signs at the Venosta Clan Tournament

The Rapids are thrilled to announce the signing of Venosta, Quebec's Sam McLaughlin. Rapids coaching staff made the big announcement in front of a packed house at the Venosta Clan Tournament on Saturday evening. 

Sam is a dynamic forward with a great hockey resume. He played NCAA DIII with SUNY Canton before returning home to start his senior hockey career. He's played for several senior teams in both the LHSAO and the EOSHL including the Maniwaki Foresters and the Arnprior Rivermen where he averaged 1.5 points per game. We can't wait to see Sam hit the ice this fall in the blue, white and black!
