Paugan Falls Rapids Win NPHL 2024-25 Community Excellence Award

The Paugan Falls Rapids are honoured to be named the recipient of the Northern Premier Hockey League’s (NPHL) 2024-25 Community Excellence Award, a testament to our deep-rooted commitment to the Gatineau Valley. This prestigious award recognizes our efforts in promoting sportsmanship, supporting local charities, fostering a positive team culture, and engaging with fans in Low, Quebec, and beyond.

“All of this would not be possible without our incredible volunteers, our sponsors, and the greater community who support us day in, day out. We’re one big community up here, so thank you very much for the award,” said Head Coach & GM Randy Peck.

From charity events like the Gear for Kids to fan events like Rapids Family Fun Day, the Rapids strive to make a lasting impact both on and off the ice. “The Paugan Falls Rapids exemplify community excellence through their tireless efforts to make a positive impact both on and off the ice,” said NPHL President Josh Rowlands.

We’re proud to share this honour with our fans, volunteers, and sponsors who make the Rapids a true community team. Join us in celebrating at our Banquet on May 3, 2025, in Low, Quebec when Josh Rowlands presents the award to the community!
