Rapids Add Goaltender Vincent Rivest for 2026–27 Season

The Paugan Falls Rapids are pleased to announce the signing of goaltender Vincent Rivest for the 2026–27 season.

A native of Gatineau, Quebec, Rivest joins the Rapids after a Junior A career with the Gatineau Flames, where he appeared in 51 games and posted a .894 save percentage. At 26 years old, the 6-foot, 195-pound netminder brings valuable experience and a well-rounded game to the Rapids crease.

Rivest is an athletic, mobile goaltender known for his excellent glove hand and calm presence in net. One of the strongest puck-handling goaltenders in the region, he takes pride in helping his team transition quickly out of the defensive zone by making smart, accurate plays with the puck. He's also built a reputation for coming through with timely saves when his team needs them most.

With the addition of Rivest, the Rapids continue to strengthen their depth between the pipes heading into the new season. His experience, competitiveness and ability to impact the game both in and out of the crease will provide the club with another dependable option in goal.
