Rapids sign 4 locals

The Rapids are pleased to announce the signings of four locals for the upcoming season: Nicholas Carroll, John Mahoney, Garth McLaughlin and Nolan Peck.

Nicholas Carroll:

Carroll is a resident of Wakefield, Quebec with deep roots in the area. Nic played minor hockey for the local Loups des Collines winning several championships before playing Junior C for the North Dundas Rockets. His slick offensive abilities are sure to make him an exciting player to watch this season.

Mahoney played the majority of his junior hockey with the Embrun Panthers before playing his final season with the Vancleek Hill Cougars.

Garth McLaughlin:

McLaughlin was born and raised close to the rink in Venosta, Quebec. He played his minor hockey for the Loups des Collines as well, providing a rugged offensive touch that contributed to several championships. After minor hockey, Garth played prep school hockey at St. Paul's School in New Hampshire.
