Signing Alert

Signing Alert! The Rapids have signed defensemen Thomas Leggett. Thomas is a shut down defenseman who will bring a strong physical presence to our back end this year. He played Jr. A with the Gatineau Flames of the LHJAAAQ and the St. Stevens Aces of the MHL. 

Thomas went to school at Philemon Wright High School in Hull and is very familiar with the area. He participated in the Touch-a-Truck fundraiser at the Gatineau Valley Arena this spring, bringing one of Bellai's large pump trucks. He also has played several tournaments at the Gatineau Valley Arena. 

When asked about what the Rapids organization means to him, he had this to say:

I'm looking forward to playing hockey with friends and bringing hockey back to a kind and welcoming community like Low.
