Swing Into Summer with the Rapids Golf Tournament On May 30

The Paugan Falls Rapids are excited to announce the return of their annual golf tournament, taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Mont Cascades Golf Club in Cantley, Quebec. Now a staple summer event, the tournament continues to bring together fans, sponsors, players, and community members for a great day on the course in support of Rapids hockey.

Event Details and Registration

Registration is now open for teams of four. The entry fee is $560 per team ($140 per golfer) and includes 18 holes of golf, shared cart, and a buffet meal. 

The tournament will be played in a best ball format, making it enjoyable and accessible for golfers of all skill levels.

Tournament Schedule

12:00 PM – Player Arrival & Registration
12:45 PM – Announcements & Opening Ceremonies
1:00 PM – Round Begins
7:00 PM – Buffet Meal
7:30 PM – Awards Ceremony

Contests, Prizes and Awards

One of the highlights of the day is the wide range of contests, prizes, and awards up for grabs throughout the tournament.

Golfers will have the chance to compete in on-course contests including:

  • Longest Drive
  • Closest to the Pin
  • Marshmallow Drive

In addition to bragging rights, prizes will be awarded across multiple competitions, giving every group a reason to stay competitive from the first tee to the final putt.

The day will also feature:

  • Giveaways and on-site draws

Whether you're chasing a top finish or just out for a fun round with friends, there will be plenty of opportunities to walk away a winner.

Proceeds from the tournament go directly toward supporting the Paugan Falls Rapids and their upcoming season. Events like this play a key role in helping the organization continue to grow both on and off the ice, while strengthening its connection to the Gatineau Valley community.

Ronnie Rapid will also be in attendance, bringing his signature wooden club and keeping the energy high around the course.
